What's the scoop on him, sorry I haven't been paying attention much this offseason.

I remember him being considered a bruiser out of high school and highly recruited a couple years ago. Is he still trying to get the weight up, or has he fallen past other lineman outperforming him?

Many expect him to compete for a starting spot this year

He's clearly fallen behind Maea Teuhema, Will Clapp, and Toby Weathersby, but we need to find a RG, and he may be the man for the job.

Good to hear. His high school film screams "I'm a monster run blocker".

I think that for guys in his position (i.e. highly recruited and having spent a year or two in the system), it's a matter of how badly they want it and how hard they work.

I think he competes with Boutte for right guard if Clapp moves to center

During he and Cam Robinson's senior year, I remember Mike S. saying Robinson was not the best OL man in the state.

Brumfield will leave LSU after being starter, prob next year though. He may be the third guy out for guard play this year.

Oh I see that now. Well maybe he just needed some more time to gel.

He's a Guard. Teuhema is a future 1st rounder at 1 guard spot. He will have his chance to win the job at RG this year

He's a good kid. I know nothing about how he is practicing or whether he will start, but I do know he is a kid with good character, and LSU is in his heart.

Sup Wildman

Should venture back to the recruiting board some time. Looking forward to Garett getting some PT and hoping he gets a starting spot
