We are being moved from CEBA this season due to construction. Our options are the lots directly across Nicholson from Bernie Moore, The lots by the softball stadium, and a couple of small lots near the parade ground. If you park at any of those lots, what is the ingress and egress situation like. I'm particularly interested in the experience of those coming/going from the west. TIA

I parked behind the union last year.. Can't remember the lot number or the building.. Was a faculty lot closer to the stadium than the union lot.. With that limited knowledge.. It was the worst experience I've had leaving the stadium.. Bama game was 2.5 hours home and I live in southdowns.. They forced us to go behind the law school and join up to Dalrymple or you could turn towards dalrymple at highland.. Either way was a cluster.. I choose not to get that pass this year and will find other ways.. Average time home was at least an hour.

I parked in 102 (across Nicholson from Bernie Moore) a couple of times last year. It was a breeze getting out since I was going to I-110 North.

My tailgate group, at least most of them got the same letter. So I guess now that we are disbursed that ends 25 years of our tailgate parties. From the looks of the size building CEBA will become parking in Lot 305 will be very limited probably only to the parking spots across CEBA Ln. in the future.

I received my email for choosing parking (for the 1st time). I can choose next Friday (the 17th).

Will there be anything left near the Parade Grounds that late?

TIA

Parking on Nicholson will give you northbound contraflow exit, easy access to I10W.

Most likely. I got 207 last year and I could have bought any of the lots near the parade grounds, and my name comes up July 16 late afternoon. You will be fine

You can park for free behind the Law School and over by University High. Have always found a spot, but the earlier you get there the easier it will be. You get right on Dalrymple after the game and can hit the Interstate right past the Lakes. Traffic congestion varies depending on the game and the score in the second half. We never leave early regardless of the score or the weather.........

Be careful with some of the Nicholson lots by the track stadium. Some of those are "one way in, one way out". It can take forever just to leave the parking lot . For that reason , the wife and I had to leave the Bama game with 5 mins on the clock because we had to get home to our 5 month old. We couldn't risk sitting in parking lot grid lock for 3 hours.

It seems to me by looking at the maps that all the parking by Alex box,, softball stadium, river road, etc is where you want to avoid because of the ample parking and lack of roads? I parked in 207 last year and it was pretty easy getting in and out.

I am shooting to get 206 this year.

I pick tomorrow morning and hope to get back in 305 also.

I just logged on and there are 137 spots remaining in 305. Chances look good for me.

Lot 107-2 at the old Box site was popular today with only 60 out of the original 127 spots remaining.

I only have the non renewable option.

How do I get the renewable option? Is it when we applied months ago?

At this time I don't see the value of renewable. Is the difference the cost of the parking plus tradition fund? Do you get an assigned spot in the lot?

After getting 1 renewable Football Parking Pass. I sent a request in for another renewable the last 4 years and have't been able to get 1 , but was offered the non-renewable parking pass every year... Seems to be the way LSU is going on the Football Parking Passes for some reason.

This year is a non-renewable relocation for 2015 only for anyone who was in lot 305. There is still a Lot 305, but it is only the part on the west side of Ceba Lane near the Facility Services buildings.

I was able to remain in 305 when I selected a few minutes ago. As of now, there are plenty spots left in several lots for anyone who is selecting later this week.

What would you recommend for quickness after the game to get to I10 or I110?

Lot 207 (corner north side of parade grounds and highland) or lot 102 on Nicholson across from track and field?

I have parked in 104 a bunch and it has been extremely quick to get to interstate but I am a little worried with how many cars park in 102. Getting out of the lot could take a while.

My concern with lot 207 is highland isn't contraflow and crossing highland might be hard as my goal is to go north and catch the interstate. Lot 207 is a decent walk from the stadium so later getting to car therefore more traffic potentially.

I had a 408 pass (new Alex Box) last year and do not want to do that again.
