Which is why I've been saying it won't be on sat. Just because BR didn't get blasted doesn't mean the surrounding areas haven't. Lot of important ahot going on that a football game will definitely take a backseat to.

I hope they don't postpone but I don't have 5 feet of water in my house and I never lost electricity.

As of right now it's scheduled for 6:00 but things have to be taken into consideration.

I really hope they don't move it to the bye week if they have to postpone

Do realize that LSU's only bye week is Oct. 27th, the week before we play Alabama. North Texas plays Middle Tennessee on Oct. 27th.

I wonder how many more times this point will have to be beaten into everyone's head before it sinks in?

This game will be played. I just rode down Highland and
there isn't any significant damage around campus. I even
see the sun trying to come out. If N.O. let Tulane have a
game, I know the tigers will play

That's what I was going to mention....don't underestimate the positive effect this football team has on the state.

I'm sorry, but this is not a legit reason. Tulane has next to no tailgaiting and will draw maybe 20K people.

LSU will have upwards of 100K on campus, many of which are doing alot of travel to get there.

I say it still goes on as scheduled. Worst case is a move to Sunday.

You're right. I don't understand all the "too much going on around the state" comments. This storm wasn't Gustav and
it certainly wasn't Katrina. We have a couple of down trees
and minimum damage in the area. I didn't even hear of any
storm related casualties except for on man climbing a tree
and falling off from the wind blowing so hard
