They are clueless. They don't realize the depth/talent needed to compete in this conference. Sure you can compete for 1-2 games/year, but a whole season? Can't wait for Saturday.

man... I love being an LSU fan after reading stuff like that. It's stunning the amount of respect people have even when they're in denial.

I read the link and they seem pretty level headed to me. They know how tough it will be in the SEC but want to compete with the best. Most thought by being in the SEC recruiting would improve, facities would improve, and there would be more excitement surrounding the program. Thought they might be like a Arkansas or South Carolina and be competitive and maybe make a run at the SEC title every once in a while. They definitely didn't sound like they thought they were going to come in and dominate.

Why wouldnt WV compete in the SEC? Heres their record vs the league in the last 10 yrs:
UGA 1-0
MSU 2-0
Aub 1-1
LSU 0-1
Im not saying theyd come in and dominate immediately but theyd win their share of games. Just because they currently play in the Big East and their stadium isnt huge doesnt mean theyd go 0-8 in the SEC for the first 10 years like some of yall think.

For what it's worth, that forum is like the special ed class of WVU message boards. The Scout and Rivals boards are much more intelligent and active.

Well to be honest not too many fans get on wemustignitethiscouch, it was made by some fans who were tired of bluegoldnews.com, which is where you'll find the most WVU fans along with the most ridiculous meltdowns and most absurd posts. Everybody their has a source and they all say something different. Its definetly the most interesting board for mass WVU fans. Wemustignitethiscouch and themountaineer nation are smaller more rationale and more community relate, but lack a lot of depth. Best comparison is it seems almost like the "tigalaya" board. But from searching for LSU forums this one is one of the most impressive forums Ive been on. Good luck this week!
