If there was an NFL team with few or no veterans, everyone would blame the front office and the coach for doing a bad job of putting a roster together.

but what frustrates me is it seems our coaches never make adjustments during a game....

It always seems that the halftime goes to waste. There isn't any adjustments to the game plan. You would figure if the coaches know something is not working they would change it DUH!

again, if you think about LSU's pitch to recruits and how we recruit and the type of players that are being recruiting, LSU will be young every year. Why? because LSU does not hesitate to play youth, ever...at any position.

the mantra before may have been that upperclassmen hold the PT advantage, that's been thrown out the window as more and more youth is being injected into every phase of the gameplan.

So again, can you really say you blame youth when that is your exact recruiting pitch and strategy, and it plays out like so more recently?

There is something to be said though for having at least a core of 4th yr juniors and seniors starting for you which LSU seems to lack with regularity.

Why do guys like Ragland stay at Bama and guys like Kwon Alexander bolt for the NFL as soon as eligible? Alexander was a pretty god LB last year, but you could argue that Ragland was just as good if not better last year?

You realize that we sell to our recruits that if they come, they come for three and will be in the league. So again comparing our recruiting to Alabama is idiotic.

It's all built into our foundation. However, most of our guys this year are true sophmore and freshmen.

when arkansas not only beats you but kicks your arse 2 years in a row and you look at how many underclass players we have it makes you look like a fool.

Les has ALWAYS struggled in November. He is a good but not great coach. It is what it is. We have a good team but are lacking on the DL, our QB has not progressed as much as we need and Les handcuffs the offense.

Against Bama we should have ran the QB at least 10 times. We actually had a decent game plan for Arkansas but QB was off his game. DL got worn out and they pounded us. OL could not stop the rush in 2nd halve. Interested to see what we do for Ole Miss.

start supporting the team or jump off the bandwagon

Are those my only 2 options?

What if I want to support the team but want to leave early? Should I not go to the game at all? Then I wouldn't leave early. But at least I'm there to cheer them out the tunnel if I go.

I'm so confused. Please tell me how to be a fan. I don't know what to do

[quote]we are use to not having seniors any ways.. our guys tend to bolt early [/quote

This is actually my biggest problem with Miles. He doesn't prevent the bolt early philosophy. We rarely have someone stay their senior year (excl Mills)

This would have to help the team and record by being in the system one more year.

I don't know how the recruits are sold. So Les says come here but only stay three years? Just Bc a guy was promised early playing time and path to the NFL he HAS to bolt early?

If thats true then Les should have went to 3 wideouts and utilized a short passing game. We were not going to run on Bama. We have all watched Bama and NO ONE has beat them running between the tackles. You have to either pass or use the option with a mix of run.
