91. Curley’s first year made me a fan for life.
That’s why I get particularly rustled when someone questions my fandom.

1986 LSU vs Bama @ legion field in Birmingham. Lsu won the game 14-10 i believe and went on to win the SEC that year. Only conference loss was to Ole Piss. And even though we loss to the cornhuskers in the sugar bowl it was still a fun year to a 10yo.

Not necessarily the season, but the first lsu game i ever went to was in the late 80s. Lsu played miami of ohio. The extremely unique thing i remember from
That game is that for a minute or two, the south tower of stadium lights on the west side completely went out.

Bluegrass Miracle. Didn't see it as it happened (was at a rodeo or something), but I remember hearing all about it. I didn't know what it meant at the time, just that it was incredible and meant something bigly for the season. I did see the national championship of '03 (or parts of it). I didn't really understand football at the time, so it didn't really hit me.
My first truly cognizant memories were Skyler Green and Trindon Holliday, and the UForfeit game from 2007. In-freaking-credible. Those were good times.
We're in a rut of some sort now. We can quickly go one of two ways. But we'll get back to form.

I moved to Louisiana in the summer of 2003. I was 10 yrs old, my family were Arkansas fans. A friend’s parents brought me to the season opener against ULM. We sat in the NEZ. As the national anthem was being played, the heavens opened up with a ridiculous storm, the game was delayed. It was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget. I also went to the UGA and Arky game that year as well.
It was a time when Death Valley was truly Death Valley.
Well, you know how the rest of that season went... I’ve been a die-hard fan ever since.

I went to the Miami of Ohio Game in 1989. Apparently that was the highlight of that season lol. Anyway, first season I really remember following hard was 1995. Gerry Dinardo, Bring back the magic, and a freshman sensation named Kevin Faulk. By the time the "bring back the magic" game came against Auburn I was fully hooked for life.

Born in 2000 so it was the 2011 season when LSU beat a highly ranked Arkansas (where I live) and more importantly, beat Bama. Haven’t seen such a sight since...

Vividly remember beating Ohio St. Bc my fake relative was keeping books at the time and lost big. Obviously being so close to LSU, he always had to pull against them. Born in winter 96, so I was 10 or 11? Also remember 2003, not as clear but definitely remember beating Oklahoma.

I have a Dad story as well.
in 2003, I was 12 and on school nights we had to be in bed at 10:00. Well I look up and see that it's 10:01 and no one is saying anything about bed. I look at my dad and ask him if I can finish watching the game. He looks at me confused, not really sure why I'm asking. After a minute or two it dawns on him why I asked that question. He gets this great big smile on his face and tells me not only can I watch the rest of the game but if the Tigers pull it off I can stay up as late as I want and I can skip school the next day.
Needless to say, that's one of the best memories I have as a young LSU fan.

Independence Bowl vs Notre Dame 1997
was a blur because I was very young, but I remember it. Legit memory? Probably the 2003 run. I was a freshman in HS.

First memory was watching the 1968 Peach Bowl versus Florida State in rainy Atlanta. For some reason, the first few Peach Bowls were played at Georgia Tech's Grant Field.
From start to finish, the 1969 season was the first season. Attended Auburn game, then watched on TV the next week when Archie Manning ruined the perfect season and Cotton Bowl bid.

born in 1964, so the 1970 was my first memory. Remember listening on the car radio to the Notre Dame 3-0 loss. Then watching on national TV when we destroyed Archie (with a cast on his arm) and Ole Miss 61-17. Cassanova went nuts with a couple punt returns for TDs, if I recall. Then the 17-12 loss to Nebraska in the Orange Bowl.
