Want to know what Tigers think... Know this is already on Coaches Board. But the prospect of getting Jimbo and possibly Muschamp as DC back at LSU would be the perfect "finger" to Saban/Bama in my mind. And wondering what Tigers think about it. Love Miles, but if he left and we could get Jimbo in as HC, would you be more receptive to Miles going back to try and save third world Michigan program???

Personally, the thought of Jimbo and Muschamp back on Sidelines would be a huge boost for LSU across the board. I don't think there's much drop off from Chief to Muschamp, but could take either as DC and feel like we have one of the best.

But isn't Jimbo getting ready to take his Damn Strong football team and play in a ACC Championship game? He may tell everyone to have a great day and that he speaks for himself on this issue. Maybe he's not ready to talk just yet?

And, Is Mile Gone?

For the record, a lot at FSU were ready to end the Jimbo Fisher experiment until he struck gold with Jameis.

Not saying it would have been smart just saying that it takes more than just a big name coach.

jimbo is a piece of shite who turns his back to the thuggery that goes on at FSU. I don't want that.

Any pie-in-the-sky scanario that pops into your head does not a "prospect" make. That shite isn't happening. Why not the prospect of getting Bill Belechik, Pete Carroll, and Jim Harbaugh? Jesus.

Amazing what short memories ranters have. Do you not remember that we basically ran Jimbo out..on the rant, anyway... of town for his "poor job" as a our OC? He was as hated back then as CLM is now by some. He's served his time in waiting & has worked his butt off to get the Noles where they are now, AND I am sure he remembers too well how much pressure there is here. Too, who does he want to play in the coming yrs: bama, AU, Ark. the black bears, State, Fla...or...N.Carolina State, Virginia, Va.Tech, Miami???

The thought of replacing someone with Miles' character with Jimbo's character just flat out sickens me.

Miles has brought class to the program at the very least. It's part of what makes LSU such a fun program.

On paper, it looks amazing from a football standpoint. This feels a little too "sell your soul to the devil" though.

Jimbo underachieved for years with more talent than anyone else in a weak conference. He won a title because a Heisman caliber QB wanted to leave his home state. If you hate that Miles loses a few games he shouldn't, then you'll run Jimbo out on a rail.

Would the Golden Girls also be topless in this imaginary scenario?

At best a lateral move, at worst a demotion for Jimbo

FSU
14 ACC Championships
3 National Championships
511-237-17 all time record

LSU
14 SEC Championships
3 National Championships
753-398-47 all time record

Lateral move maybe. Demotion certainly not.

Plus LSU doesn't have UF and Miami in state to compete with in recruiting. Seems like a promotion if you ask me.
