When coming to a stop give yourself more room to stop than normal. Especially on smaller roads, You could easily get in an accident, if you break like you normally do in dry weather, or even rainy weather. You can easily slide through an intersection if your not careful.

"I would advise parking south of the stadium and near MLK Thanks for the heads-up!
Probably the nicest MLK in the country. Was 6th Street up until 4-5 years ago.
Basically, its burger row just off of campus. Most of the fast food joints are on MLK, Tyson has a large office, Walmart corporate eye center is on MLK, along with many nice apartments.
You can take Razorback road from MLK and that takes you to Baum Stadium parking.

I'm guessing Gregg Avenue and College heading north after the game will be fine?
Gregg is going to get hilly when getting to campus.
Where are you staying? Seems as though, by the roads you ask about, is you may be staying north in Rogers or Bentonville?
I would advise coming in on 49 and taking the Garland exit. This will be the exit with Sams Club gas on the sign. Garland will stay flat just before campus all the way from 49. I would advise parking at the Harps Grocery store at the intersection of Garland and Wedington/North Street. You pretty much avoid any and all hills 49 to Garland.
Parking there and you will walk up a large hill to stadium, but traffic is easy to deal with from Harps heading back to 49. If we are ever running late for a game and not tailgating, this is our go to spot to avoid pretty much all traffic.

Cant wait but am not looking forward to this weather. It's gonna be a cold one. We're leaving tonight right after I get out of class and staying the night at our lake house in Hot Springs then leaving for Fay mid day Friday. Geaux Tigahs

Since you will be here so early....A must is getting a sub sandwich from Green Submarine. Im partial to the original shop on Wedington.
You'll never look at a sandwich the same again.
Might I suggest the foot long Don Mega on wheat, toasted with no peppers or onions.

Another question, will my friends and I be fine trolling around Dixon street on Friday and Saturday before the game? Is that kind of teh spot to be?
Posted on 11/13/14 at 11:18 am to Duckie
Its Dickson, and yes you guys will be fine.
Probably have a great time. I wouldn't go looking for trouble or anything. But, we are pretty hospitable here in NWA.

May want to get input from others on spots on Dickson. Im pretty much a Hog Haus brewery guy or Georges Majestic.

Ok just wondering to what bars I could maybe suggest to you. Kind of sucks that it's so cold because now the rooftop for 21st Amendment and West End will not be open, at least they were not last weekend.

We're getting in tomorrow afternoon and catching the us soccer match vs Colombia.
Can you recommend a good, pub style atmosphere?
Also, what is a good brewery to tour after the game? I've looked online but haven't a clue. (After the us soccer game/match)
We're heading to vitro 1925 for dinner that night and have heard nothing but great things.

What do you mean Pub style? I would check out Ferrals, I think that's what you're getting at. For breweries check out the Fayetteville Ale trail, it will give you a list of breweries in Fayetteville. None actually have a "tour" that I know of but they are all local and make in house beer. You could research HogHead tours and they will drive you to every brewery in town.

Where are you staying? I like JJ's on Wedington, Grubs uptown, or Grubs just off Dickson to sit, drink, and watch tv. All of those places also have great food.

Im not up on the brewery scene like others can tell you, but I do enjoy Hog Haus, which brews their own beer. But, Im never one for much change either. Once I find something I like, I stick with it.

Good spot. Also I like Bordino's on Dickson. I enjoy James at the Mill in Johnson as well. Everyone will tell you to hit up Doe's for a steak, but the ribeye at James at the Mill is damn good. As is the strip at Catfish Hole.

Yes to Ferrals on that.
JJ's and Grubs are more of like a regular sports bar type place.
Id also add Gusano's on Wedington as well. Its a good pizza spot with lots of TV's.

Chris Rock famously advised, `If a friend calls you on the telephone and says they`re lost on Martin Luther King Boulevard and they want to know what they should do, the best response is `Run!`
