Despite camp talk about Stamps, Yaites was the first freshman off the bench.

Seemed comfortable out there. He’ll just get better and better.

He lined up a safety. He comes from a really good HS school program so I assume the scheme and coverages were easier for him to pick vs others. I saw him play several times in HS and thought he wasn’t a SEC caliber athlete. Hope I am wrong with Ole Miss coming up.

Yaites is a safety, Stamps is a corner.

When we recruited the three safeties, Sage Ryan, Matthew Langlois and Derrick Davis, I thought we would get at least two good safeties out of that. Instead we just got Sage Ryan playing a little nickle.

I have been surprised how underwhelming Sage Ryan has been. I was expecting huge things from him.

I did see Yaites out there late in 4Q. Was he in on meaningful plays before then? Don’t remember seeing him.

He was in on the Mekhi Wingo sack early in the game. He was blitzing off the edge

No Langlois knee injury set him way back. Knee problems still? We was under the radar ready to contribute.

Clearly the Coaches think otherwise.
