Great. Did not like him then do not like him now. Hope LF keeps his goals in order and finishes the goal.

The NFL has retired and current players that I would put behind MC, when it comes to advice.

Maybe that retired receiver from big D that's now an NFL analyst gives good advice.... about the booger sugar.

I did some homework. It seems that during his 2nd arrest, in addition to the body armor and ak-47, they also found 2 Japanese swords in his car. So, yeah, obviously he is sharp AF.

But of course the media will keep acting like he might. Clicks! Clicks! Clicks for everyone!

This is what drives me crazy about the media.

They keep talking about this saying he needs to protect his future, but not even once in a single segment has anyone mentioned that trying to sit out a year would absolutely damage his draft stock with almost any franchise.

First, there are the obvious questions about his physical condition that would be raised if he was away from football for 18 months, which is how long it would be from the time this season ends to the time his rookie season would begin in 2017. How many times have we heard about the difference between being "in shape" and being "in football shape". Right now, LF is a workhorse warrior, take him out of football for a year and a half and who knows how long it will take him to get that edge back. Fournette has the chance to be a multiple Heisman winner. That prestige could take him all the way to the #1 pick in the draft, something recently unheard of in the NFL. Sit out, he'd be fighting just to get into the top half of the first round given how little incentive teams have to invest heavily in running backs.

Second, and perhaps most importantly, Fournette is not just seen as a great physical specimen, but a uniquely humble and driven young man with a work ethic and team spirit that is truly rare in college athletics today. Bucking the entire NCAA and NFL draft process and walking away from his teammates coaches school and the game he supposedly loves for 18 months to "protect his stock" would fly in the face of everything he represents and call into question his entire brand that has been so carefully built up.

No one with any understanding of the way teams choose to invest in players that are going to be the face of their franchise would ever even hint at the possibility of him sitting out and being away from the football culture for such a long period of time at such a critical stage when he is just beginning his transition to a professional athlete.

The media pushing this is shameful, and an insult to players like Marcus Lattimore and Nick Chubb putting the idea in their heads that maybe they should have or could have done something different to change their heartbreaking circumstances. It is torture to them and Fournette. As if any of those money grubbing suits at ESPN give a damn about the players or the game off of which they make so much money.

Remember Buga, being united generates attitude. You remain united with your teammates, keep the attitude that has gotten you so far already in life, and your rewards will continue to come as they always have for you.

Enjoy every single day of your time in purple and gold, just as all of us Tiger fans are.

Your time for Sundays will be here before any of us know it.

Why would NFL want any player who is afraid to play? Only an idiot would sit out and wait for NFL.

If NCAA didn't have a 3 yr rule, do any of u really think he'd stay around another year? Answer is no.

Does anyone think LF will sit out now, no! Clarett's making it very clear, it isn't wise for any player to sit out. Also read the bottom post, since you clearly didn't read what was on the link!

If doctors didn't have to go to medical school, lawyers didn't have to sit for the Bar, teachers didn't have to go to college, would they choose to??

There are regulations for entry into any profession. The NFL is no different.

Thug? I specifically used that word because I vividly remember the media (both TV and print) referring to Maurice Clarett as a thug on multiple occasions. The point of my previous post is this: if he was a thug then, he's not now - and all the credit to him.

Don't be so quick to get your panties in a pretzel.

I don't think advice from Maurice Clarett is something anyone should take seriously.
