FOX hates LSU!!!

Did anyone else notice during the postgame broadcast that at the bottom of the screen on FOX's "ticker" that it read "Florida is the first school to win 2 BCS Championships"? I thought I was seeing things but then kept staring at it...am I the only one who noticed this?

Are you sure it didn't say that Urban Myer wqas the fisrt coach to win two BCS titles. I heard the announcers say it.

Just kidding on the hate thing, Matt...I was just curious whether or not anyone else saw this...I was sober, but tired. What about ESPN's coverage afterwards? They were giving USC the '03 championship, saying that Bush and Leinart were also Heisman winners and each won two titles (along with Tebow)

The didn't say they had 2 BCS championship. They said they have 2 championships. The AP and the BCS.

I was coming from the bookstore buying a book my son needed for school and they announced the half-time score to be Oklahoma 7 and Tennessee 7. They must love Tennessee.

They are terrible. The only College Football games they do all year is the BCS. That's bullshite.

No worries. ESPN/ABC have inked the BCS outbidding Fox and now have a monopoly on college football. Pleased?

Seriously, wouldn't this logic mean that LSU actually has won "3" national championships in the last decade? I mean, they won the BCS in 2003, and they won the BCS in 2007. They also won the AP in 2007. Since ESPN considers the AP National Title something separte, wouldn't that mean we won two championships in 2007?

Look at the history of college football and you'll get your answer. Split titles are not uncommon.
It'll continue until the NCAA gets off their arse and crowns a champion.
