Maybe he showed up at 240 to drop his draft stock. Who wants to be a Jet?

240 is teetering bad weight territory

Ughh, it all depends on what weight he'll play at and how fast he is at that weight. I'd put money he purposely added a lot of water weight that'll be gone when he runs, so he'll look like a freak of nature 240 lb back running sub-4.5's.

That's the way he rolls.... he is pathetic... and after he reads this post the insults will start rolling in... he is like a broken record.... let's remember that in that Ole Miss game he was untouched on each of his long td tuns..... he will have few of those type runs in the NFL....

If he runs a 4.4 at 240 he would have run a 4.3 at 230 and lord knows what at 220....why not max out your chances to do your absolute best??

Like I said, I'm glad it's water weight. Actually playing at 240 would not be good. He's proven to be better playing lighter like in his sophomore year when he leaned up from his freshman year. He played at 227-230 that year and dominated

He needs to play at 225 that's when he's at his best. The bigger he gets the more hits he'll take.

Link.

Every link i click on for 2015 lsu roster has LF at 235 lbs.
The only site that had him below 235 was his rivals profile.

Where'd you see that Rick? All the pre season pubs I have have him at 230. Before 15 and 16.

Les Miles came out and said it:

quote:

“I think Leonard was 235 or 233 (pounds) or so during spring,” Miles said Thursday on the “Paul Finebaum Show.” “We want him right around 225. So that his strength and speed are kind of maximized. He’s an elite guy and he wants to be in an elite body as he goes into the fall. I think that certainly this summer will provide him that opportunity.

But that doesn't mean he's necessarily out of shape here either

In your opinion, do you think he wanted to show up at 240?

Well I have no idea of what he's been running. I'm sure he's surrounded by the best trainers money can buy who do this every year.

If he runs under a 4.5 at 240, he's a combine God

March 2015

He was clearly lighter as a Sophomore and it showed
RBs don't need to be 240lbs. He can do the same things at 225 plus more than what he can do at 235-240.
