Man it's all setting up for him to put up a stupid combine. If he runs a sub 4.45 at 240 lbs then someone will trade up into the top 5 for him

he hasn't played in over 3 months. I'd be willing to bet he's healthy at this point

Does everyone realize that he may not run at the combine and save it for pro day?

Exactly. If he's not healthy by now, that's a huge red flag.

240 for a man that size is one good BM away from being 235.

I think he'll prob run at pro day. Only reason he wouldn't would be if he's no healthy. One would think Fournette would want to put any health concerns to rest as soon as possible. If he doesn't run, that is going to raise some red flags about the severity of his injury. If this was an injury that didn't require surgery, there is no reason he shouldn't be healthy after 3.5 months of rehab

He was clocked at 23.6 mph (or something like that) on a run in that game. Faster than any NFL player carrying the ball in the league this past season.

Edit: 22.9 mph
1:25 mark

Or, he shed the easy weight for the weigh-in and he's really walking around at 245-250.

Weighing in at 240 isn't a good sign. He is not in optimal shape.

Lol. He's been training for the combine for a few months now, doing things to get him specifically ready for this week. He's got millions of dollars on the line, he's in pretty damn good shape.

If he does then I will be pleasantly surprised. I worry about him losing that extra step with the weight.

So, you think 240 is more likely to be a case where he is in GREAT shape vs. a case where he's a little overweight?

You are delusional, IMO.

Absolutely. Anyone with common sense would.

But, it's not the end of the world. Even if he's out of shape, he can pretty easily get in shape between now and the season.

He should be somewhere close to 230, IMO.
