I remember an article around February saying that this combo could be like Thunder and Lighting. I understand why Miles didn't play Guice much vs State (hell look at LF vs Wisconsin). At the same time I just feel like Guice would compliment Fournette so much better than Williams

Give Guice time. Coach will need another back at some point an Guice will be there to get the carries. I have no doubt he will play a major role this year for this offense.

Williams was a beast out there. I'm anxious to see what Guice can do too, but Williams compliments Fournette just fine.

I do not think the coaching staff was comfortable with the offense without the tune up game. They saw LF was rolling and decided wrongly that it was enough.

LSU is one of the few fortunate teams where the fan base should feel comfortable and confident with whoever is in the backfield. From Fournette to Brossette, the stable of backs here is ridiculous.

You see Guice starting on Sundays and haven't seen him play one single not busted college play?

I'm looking forward to guice also, but you are a fool to take anything away from Williams at this point. You seem like a star gazer. I bet you think Frank's will step in and should start at QB right away next year too.

Williams was great Saturday and did a solid job last year as a true freshman when called upon. Guice will have his time come soon enough.

I would like to see Guice get his touches as well, but Williams is a beast. Some of his best runs got called back by penalties. (BS ones IMO). If Guice doesn't get the ball that much it means what we are doing is working. (In theory)

Yes and me in as well I love both of the freshmen running backs what you going to do take carries from Williams? He has done nothing but everything that has been asked of him and has preformed pretty damn good when given the chance.

Williams should have had more 2nd half carries.

I'd say D. Williams and Guice are "Thunder and Lightening"

Fournette is the whole fricking hurricane

It took 3 people to take down Williams Saturday. Dude is a dam grown man out there. I like him carrying the rock. Imagine a defense being tired from tackling LF7 for 3 quarters seeing a fresh Williams coming in! Bet they thinkin oh dam.

If not for the penalty and late replay call negating DWs big runs, he goes over 100 yards for the game. I think he's doing just fine.

It's a long season. Let it play out.

Nice to have a lot of options for fresh horses.

Both will be good, but stop trying to put one player who has not played a college down over someone who has proven himself to be worthy
