Something isn't adding up just yet. If he couldn't swim (which I'm sure he could) I don't see how a 6'7 guy drowns in a family pool. This is terrible.

There are definitely details missing. Did his head hit or something diving? Drugs or alcohol? He didn't just drown.

I'm not really a fan of speculating on stuff like this, to be honest. Especially so soon after it's reported.

If RATeamWannabe is saying this you can bank on it being accurate.

Sad. They need to just report what happened so people will quit speculating. Most will think drugs or suicide when the facts are being swept aside and not told. RIP Matt.

Honestly, its not your place to tell people what should be reported. If the family doesn't want details known, you don't have the right to them. I'm sure it cuts a little deeper for them than just an unsolved mystery.

Yeah, but getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. At some point you just have to let go to move forward. They should report what happened IMO.

Dude, they aren't even allowed to let it simmer down for a day? Jeez man, who really cares? Your curiosity on how/why he died isn't going to do anything to make it better for the family in mourning.

How does one commit suicide in a pool?

Man this sucks. Hadn't known him a long time, but just spoke to him the other day about what nights he wanted to play volleyball this season. Seemed pretty excited about marking some folks on the court.

I think that's neither here nor there at this point, man.

Terrible news. Thoughts are with his family.

I was supposed to play cards with him 5 nights ago but i backed out because of work.
The details are coming out about how he died. I just refuse to believe he would commit suicide. I think something else had to happen
