how did each QB do with the purple team? were both running for their life so hard you couldn't tell or did one fair better than the other under pressure?

That's the way I understand it.

Harris did score with the purple team I believe

No Bias, but Harris out performed Jennings this spring.

1. Harris was led more scoring drives.
2. Harris ball placement was far superior to Jennings despite throwing a pick.
3. Jennings did look improved, but at times became the old Jennings we are used to seeing.
4. Harris had a better completion percentage.
5. Jennings needs more arm strength
6. Jennings did not turn over the ball but he did get sacked a couple of times.

That opinion Is not allowed in here

We need completely unbiased opinions that are biased to Jennings. That's the only things allowed in here.

Jennings was calmer under pressure, but didn't move the chains. Not his fault, White was far superior. Both, let me rephrase that, ALL THREE, threw many times to the TE. McMillan had a frozen rope to Desean Smith for a 45 yard TD or so on a post. Both Harris and Jennings checked down to the FB as well as the TE to the flat. Both threw the ball over the middle as well. Harris threw the In route to Diarse that Mett loved in 2013.

The White was a machine with all 3 QBs and the White defense shut down the Purple with both Jennings and Harris.

4 catches for 104 yards and 2 TDs I think for the TEs

I think we can all agree that that is an improvement

The only time Harris got "Happy Feet" was running away from the DL that had 6 sacks. When he played with the starters he was calm in the pocket. That's perspective, not bias.

agreed. I was there. and everyone else there saw the difference in QB play.

Name one thing I stated in my previous post that was a lie.

A couple drops to the TE too. It was definitely an integral part of the offense which is exciting.

Harris looked a smidge better with the White compared to how Jennings looked with the White.

With the Purple, Jennings looked poised and played even keeled. Harris looked a little panicky and played to run. In the first series, he had a a receiver open, and he opted to keep it.

Both QBs looked like they have greatly improved.

My concern with Harris is that he excels when playing against overmatched defenses; MSU, NMSU, and Purple are examples. However, he has happy feet and looks to run when playing against solid defenses: Auburn and White are examples.

But as I said in another thread, the Spring Game is just a scrimmage. Hell, the Spring Game means less than any spring practice because both Jennings and Harris were on their asses for more than half of the time.

Fans put way too much emphasis on the Spring Game because it's about all they get to see of the QBs. But for the coaches, the Spring Game represents probably less than 5% of what they get to see of the QBs.

Also, his pick was to a true freshman and was a bad throw into double coverage.

where was this double coverage? I was there. on that side. it was single coverage and the DB pushed off.

go ahead downvote away, but here is the pick:

This is their way of wanting someone to say Jennings out performed Harris, which would be a lie.

Our QBs are better than last season.
Our WRs are better than last season.
We are stacked at RB.
Secondary is extremely good.
DL looks talented and big.
LBs will be adequate.

Anything less than 10 wins would be a huge disappointment.

take that passive aggressiveness elsewhere

just telling you what happened.
dude clearly has an agenda saying it was into double coverage when it was not.

Won't really call it a "lie", but you have no way of knowing who outperformed who in the spring. We didn't see any of the run read calls today which is where Harris struggled the most last year. Everyone knows Harris has a better arm. Both QB's look improved and I'd call it pretty even at this point.

But you must admit it, you're extremely biased when it comes to Harris vs. Jennings.

oops...
