Wasn't at the earthquake game but I think the loudest LSU game I ever attended was the horrible loss (28-31) to Auburn in '97 when Herb Tyler messed up on an option play. I yelled for a long time that night trying to get the win.

It was loud but I don't know if it's ever been louder than when they announced the USC score against Florida the same year.

Man, I wish I could've been at that game. I watched it on TV. I was still in Florida at the time.

It was right there with other loud moments in big games. I will throw this out there. Everyone mentions when they announced the USC score. But I think when the bama field goal was blocked in the 2008 bama game might have been louder.
