But he's also not as good as some still claim.

Links? All I have seen is people defending him from stupidity, no one claiming he was great.

People had too high of expectations with LSU's archaic and inept offense last year. I'll put money that he has an all SEC type season this year. He still had some problems that should have been ironed out, like his flat long ball. I think LSU actually has someone that can work with him now.

Mett did it in every single game and most throws were a good 5 yards in front of the WR.
i agree with you on that,it seemed like he just couldnt connect on those passes...it would have been better if we had a reciever that could run those type of throws down....what realy hurt the team was too many three and outs.....piss poor play calling and a qb that held on to the ball too long was a disaster waiting to happen....he showed signs of being a great passer and if they put him in better situations we should see a big improvement this year...our defense was tired by the fourth quarter...the offense needs to move the ball and keep them off the field...

yes Mett was awfull last year, worse than JJ and JL combined, but he can and will improve from last season. Lack of any type of athletic skills at all and lack of awareness hurt him last season, along with being a very inaccurate passer. I think he can improve to where he is an average SEC QB this season which will be a hugh step for this offense,

Like him or not. It doesn't matter. He's got the keys and - barring injury - he'll keep 'em this year. End of debate.

"We have fans that are more worried about his hair and his mustache than his actual play on the field."

Yes we are worried about his "porn stache" 'cause we know it could lead to more interceptions!! It's a logical progression in quarterback play!!

The people that don't like him, don't like him because he isn't as fast as Jordan Jefferson.

Les has brain washed some Tiger fans into thinking you have to have a mobile QB to win games

There you go speaking derp again.

You are one dumb sob if you think ZM was "awful" last year.
Keep going though, don't let me hold you up.
