why, because you say so?
It was kind of a joke. I know I have no authority over anyone's opinions here. But yeah. 84% is fair. I would give JJ 66%

Mccarron did that in the LSU Bama Game
Mett did it in every single game and most throws were a good 5 yards in front of the WR.

thats like saying dropping a sure pick 6 on 2nd down means nothing when the opponent goes down the field to score on that drive. You only get so many chances to score. If Mett blows every single one of those out of fear of being intercepted, eventually it is going to catch up to you and you will be a chic fila bowl losing team.
Yes, but we weren't doing that every single drive. It would happen once maybe twice a game.

It does, but ITS NOT DETRIMENTAL. Sheeeesh
I don't think you know the definition of detrimental.

we definitely couldn't have used 1 or 2 extra TDs a game.

In that case we would have won all our games....

Well he stepped up in the Florida game by throwing that nice third down pass to OBJ who fumbled it unfortunately.
That damn game. We had the play, we were in biniss

With a stout running game (w/or w/o Hill), a solidified OL that has a yr under its belt, Stud back where he belongs, Cam's influence, another yr @ the helm with the same WR's, I expect Mett to perform better. It's a big yr for him. Last chance before the NFL. Big with a strong arm doesn't way as heavily in the draft as it used to. He can think an LSU alum for that. Gotta have intangibles. Pocket prescence, anticipation, mechanics, leadership scores high. See Russell Wilson, etc.

His recievers didn't help him with all the drops this past yr....

yeah, overthrowing every single deep ball by 7 yards in a run, run, run, deep PA offense is no big deal
Let's not overlook the real problem here.... that being that CLM is calling a deep PA pass on 4th down.

Who doesn't like Zach Mettenberger?

to the guy who said quarterbacks don't overthrow receivers is retarded.
Mettenberger is a very good quarterback, He has some of the best arm talent in college football. He has great toughness(OM game). He had put it all together during the final stretch last year. The offensive line mix and match up game last year, and wide receivers playing hot potato hurt. in the first game our line looked like
LT-Faulk: Second Team all SEC, was considered a first round pick heading into the year.
LG- Collins: Top offensive line prospect in 2011, played sparingly in 2010.
C- Lonergan: 3 year starter considered one of the top centers in CFB
RG- Williford: Started the year before, and was an efficient run blocker
RT- Hurst: Was an All-American, and considered a top OT going into the 2013 Draft.
Faulk-Played 1 game, injured before Washington game
Williford-injured vs Florida never started again
Hurst- quit on the team mid season.
vs Clemson
LT- Josh D
LG- Collins
C- Lonergan
RG- Turner
RT- Alexander
Cam is going to help him a lot his final year.

What about the wide-open WR in the Clemson game? All Mett had to do was throw the ball 15 yards and we win the game- and he blew it. How many wide open WRs did Mett miss on last year?
How many wide open WRs does McCarron miss?
Mett was mediocre at best last year- nobody is hating. Its the way it was.
