Hilliard has been dealing with a turf toe since last year. When completely healthy he is a really good back.

I believe Hilliard is a back that needs a number of snaps to get in a groove. Many running backs are this way. You can't just give him one here and there and expect results. Unfortunately you would have to take carries away from hill to do so. I would be inclined to give him a try. I actually thought hill ran very tentative against Uga and same against miss state. He had that one big run but that was it.

Wrong! He was last Saturday, but hasn't shown anything over the past year. He's our 3rd or 4th best back.

And Blue has?

Talk about underachieving, dude is a senior.

Kinda ghey when people say this on the net. Played out and tired.

he just doesn't get the PT he has earned.

Who are you to determine who has "earned" PT? How many practices have you been to?

The problem is that he is averaging about 1-3 yards less per touch than all of the other backs.

When you have so much competition, you have to max out when you do get touches.

Misleading stat. Most of Hilliard's "touches" occur in short yardage situations and situations when there are 10 in the box. Of course he isn't going to average 7 yards a carry in those chances.

It's Hilliard, and it's not really close. Love the other backs too, but you guys looking at stats should just bow out. Watch why and when his runs fail, and ask yourself what any other back would have done with that carry. He's not as good as Hill, but it's closer than most think.

Blue is possibly the most overrated back by this board ever, but he had one run last game that showed he is very, very good.

No it's not, Hill is on a completely different level.

Blue's coming off a major knee injury, he's running cautiously. He should improve as the year goes on. Hilliard hasn't been healthy for a while either, but when he is, he is pretty damn good.

None of them hold a candle to Hill though.

This board cracks me up. Everyone decides they have a favorite RB or favorite player, sometimes before they ever even step foot on campus. Then they lobby for them to get more PT come hell or high water.

I agree and disagree. Maybe you and I disagree on what "closer than most think" means.

He ran no differently before.

If you don't think hill is our best back, then you are delusional. Or Mr Hilliard.

I agree with TG he played good last game but he has been missing in action most of the season. Also Blue so far this year has been a disappointment.

The first couple games last year before he got hurt, he was hitting the holes hard without hesitation, not avoiding contact, and more decisive with his cuts. This year he's running a little less confident. He's missing holes and dancing around too much before heading up field. That's all common after coming back from knee injuries though.

The answer is Kenny Hilliard. I cant believe he doesn't get more PT. He is leaps and bounds better than Blue and especially Magee. Hilliard is a Hoss who has speed, size, and power. The only 2 players that should run the ball when we are within +/- 14 of our opponents should be Hill and Hilliard. LINK ill leave this here... dude hasn't lost a step he just doesn't get the PT he has earned. pay attention @ 2:10 2:25 and 3:34 What say the Rant?
