Looks better than last year.., but, no one should get any more than status quo. Feed Hill and occasionally give a carry to the others.

That's bc LSU doesn't need him to play, Hill is a beast and will continue to get the rock. If we didnt have Hilliard this yr it wouldn't hurt us

The answer is Kenny Hilliard.

The guy sucked donkey balls last week! What are you talking about? He got, I don't know, 6 carries? And he fumbled on one of them. One fumble per hundred carries is LSU football, and you're touting a guy who fumbled once on six? Sit him the frick down until he learns the responsibility of an LSU RB!!!

Hillard looked good for the first time in a long time. I like what he is doing. Really was a pleasant surprise to see him running hard against Miss St. Looking good, keep it up.

Wouldnt be the Rant without some rankings thread that tears down one player to prop up another

Obviously he doesn't show it in practice consistently enuf and like others have said dude fumbles more often than the other backs he's been playing behind (and I realize its usually due to his physical style of running and him making the extra effort to get more yardage) but he's still gotta hold on to the ball - no excuses!

Miles and Cameron are gonna play the best damn back and KH has to show it and apparently he may be starting to but honestly after Hill there is not a lot of drop off between the other 3 depending on the style of back CC wants for the plays / formations he's going with.

Others orobably know this better than me too but I've got to think blocking and recognizing the correct blitz pickup has as much or maybe even more to do with it than anything and I'm not sure which of the other 3 does that the best?

The problem is that he is averaging about 1-3 yards less per touch than all of the other backs.

When you have so much competition, you have to max out when you do get touches. He looked good last week, but the fumble won't help his cause (fumbles can erase whatever positive things you do pretty quickly).

Nobody is "tearing down" any of the players. Go back to sleep.

And yes football is a sport which ranks players by position in a depth chart and is free to be scrutinized.

Well you wrote he's leaps and bounds better than Magee and Blue. Which is so stupid that you must either know him personally or are just an idiot
