You are nuts!

LSU was #2 last year and currently #6.

If another school offers your coach 5 mil or whatever it is, LSU would have to be crazy not to be willing to offer Miles something more to keep him.

Not having to make a gamble on a coaching search has to be worth something to your school.

This.

If we had finished last year instead of being embarrassed, then the answer would be different.

However, we're now back in the Chik-Fil-A bowl. We've been to a non-BCS bowl in 4 of the last 5 years...

Tell me something. If these coaches have multi-year contracts and if we fire them we have to honor them or buy them out, why then do the coaches not have to honor them? Instead of getting a raise shouldn't Les have to honor his contract or if he leaves shouldn't he have to buy his way out?

The modern day college coach is such a privileged individual that it boggles the mind. They make obscene amounts of money even if they fail at their job and are fired. Here is one recent proof of this.

Auburn said the total buyout for Chizik and his assistant coaches is $11.09 million. Chizik's buyout will total $7.5 million and be paid in monthly installments of $208,334 for the next 36 months.

Perhaps some of you can justify this in your minds in a time when so many of our fellow citizens are suffering economic hardship but I find the whole thing just a wee bit distasteful.

So he's winless? No SEC championships? No NC? Doesn't have an 80% win percentage?

Yep, he burned the cupcakes.

Douche.

Because I am right and you clearly don't understand free markets and how they work.

How's minimum wage treating you?

And you are a fruit loop if don't understand that LSU not having to make a coaching search is by itself worth something to LSU.

Do you flip burgers at Wendy's?

I'd love to have an intelligent debate about this with you, but you were just so quick to show that you were incapable of this.

So you want the retard to get a raise every time he shops himself around after going to the chicken bowl?

He has a contract. He's paid handsomely. If Arkansas is stupid enough to pay him that much money, let him go, I say.

Don't want him to leave.

Wouldn't give him a raise.

If the two are mutually exclusive, so be it.

He either needs a raise, or needs to jet. If people want to throw $5 million at him, guess what. He is now worth $5 million.

and if we don't give him a raise and he still stays, he's not worth 5.5 mil.
