If he cut down on some of his mental mistakes he would be really good with the offense. Thats my only gripe.

I suppose I don't get to worked up about this because there is nothing we can do about it. Plus I see QB with lots more game experience make goofs like he did yesterday. Considering the injury he is doing as fine as I think we can expect.

Also there is a leadership component to this that is important. That we get hints of but we can't say RP would be a better team leader than Flynn. That wins games too

And while you were still bitching about Flynn, your boy JPW was 14/40 against an inconsistent secondary.

Also, Stafford was busy sucking complete balls three weeks ago against a Tennessee team with maybe the worst defense in the entire conference.

Pretty sure it was 3.

1 LaFell STOPPED on the fly pattern, or the pass woulda been right on.

1 hit Bowe right in the chest, and he dropped it when he got hit.

1 hit Bowe in the hands, though it was underthrown, and it was in desparation mode.

So, should we blame Flynn for the INt against Auburn where LaFell just flipped it to the auburn defender's hands?

Yes i suppose leadership may be an intangible to factor in... But is very hard to get a definite measure on that characteristic and how it relates to winning.

One of JR's ints against Florida wasn't his fault.

for you to say JPW did bad yesterday is very dumb. Compared to flynns pocket time JPW had none. He was hit repeatedly and sacked 7 times.

But, you'd be saying the same stuff about those other QB's. Are you trying to tell me they don't make mistakes? You watch them with the same critical eye that you watch Flynn?

The grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it?

Flynn's our guy.

Fair points. But if you are going to get on Flynn about INTs, you should have done the same with Russell.

Mauck and Flynn may not have the physical talent of Russell, but I think they are better leaders and I think the team responds better. But again, this is only my opinion and my opinion only!

I believe the talent at the other positions have allowed LSU to succeed at some points in spite of flynn.

Can we talk about this, for better part of season we have had three recievers that have never started a game this year, a OL that has played suspect at times (namely Stewart), we only recently have utilized the TE, we have a great stable of running backs however the most talented dont seem to get the majority of touches.

Where is this vast talent differential?? Lets also mention that boneheaded mistakes have consistently put the O and Flynn in less than favorabel down and distance.

I can promise you Cox and Wilson are not better, not real sure Tebow is a better passer, and Ainge has not exactly elevated his teams play.

No i never said that. Im saying because Flynn is not as pysically talented as the other players he has to make the right reads and the right throw where in the same situation a JR...etc would not.

And JR didn't?

He did, some times. I would also argue that he lost a few games for us, big games. I haven't seen Flynn do that.....yet.

JPW!! Did Flynn ever fumble on the two yard line with the game on the line? He make make some bad decisions during the game, but when the pressure is on and the game is on the line he is clutch with ice water running in his veins baby!

I think Mauck was a better leader; I haven't figured out JR/Flynn yet.
