No you said all teams have backups that step in and start. My point is that just because they start does not mean there is not a signficant dropoff in performance, I dont know what your point is, you are on record as saying we have enough talent to cover up for Flynn deficits, I am still waiting on the discovery of all of this talent

Again i never said flynn sucked. I dotn know where this connotation came from. But if flynn loses im sure you'll see a few posts on why LSU lost and flynn just might be the subject in a few of them.

Maybe our WR corp is not as talented as last year but to say that suck is ludicrous.

Why do people always compare Flynn to Mauck? They're totally different quarterbacks.

Are you serious? They're very similar. Mobile QB's with decently accurate arms, but with a tendency to get out of rhythm at times. The reason people compare the two is that they are similar, yet some people believe Mauck is superior becasuse he won an SEC and national championship. If Flynn wins those games, he should be in Mauck's league. The only difference I see is that Flynn might be able to play consistantly at the next level.

Seems like I remember JM having some pretty crappy games when he was here last year and many were calling for Matt Flynn. I'll take MF and, in my book, he's done what he needs to do. Remember he was injured earlier for several games. And, what, we have 1 loss in triple OT? Not too shabby a job.

Mauck - 28 tds/14 ints

When did I say they sucked? As a matter for fact now that Byrd and Tolliver are in with Early and a healthy ankle for Flynn I am pleased as can be with our attack.

I you had said that FLynn makes too many careless plays with the ball, I will agree wholeheartedly. But you said that Cox and Wilson and Stafford were better, and I just could not disagree more.

THere might be some post but so what. I guess I think LSU fans need to take a step back and get a proper viewpoint. There is no sense if we no get th big prize to think this seasonwas a disaster or to throw players under the bus that gave us one of the most exciting season in LSU history.

FLynn is what we got. THere is nothig we can do about it. Miles can't call up Urban and do trades for Tebow. SO it is what it is.

When you said you'd rather have Cox and Wilson or even Stafford at this point, your post became comical. The thread became even more comical when you suggested RP should have started whole season.

Flynn is Les's choice _ run them both off - your post is so for off - Look at Heisman Canidate Matt Ryan 3 int's game lost. Matt Flynn 3 int's game won

Yeah..but what doesn't show up in the stats is the awful blocking by the O Line and the awful play by the receivers in that game.

MF put us in position to win that game in regulation, but due to clock mismanagement by himself and the coaching staff, we didn't

That's fine.

Then you cant blame JR for a loss against UF last year when 2 INTs weren't his fault, the fumbled snap was admittedly the center's fault, the muffed punt return, and the countless bad plays by the defense.

There were PLENTY of people to get blamed for the UF loss before JR.

Just because you dont really watch their games and they dont get any hype does not mean that they suck.

And if you think that flynn is way better than any of those three than you sir are the comical one.

Matt Ryan is not a good example. Most people on this board agree that he blows.

Lets face it guys if we had Jamarcus this season we would still be undefeated
But we don't so it's irrelevant.

The problem with Flynn is he does not have the physical tools and is leery of scrambling. Several times yesterday there were open lanes for a first down to scramble, instead he stayed in the pocket and failed to complete the pass.
This is true.

Also his mental acuity is overrated
Dumb statement.

Anyway in the SEC I would rather have these 6 quarterbacks
You can't have them, they play for other teams. Accept and support the QB you have and stop it with all the bashing. Enough already!
