I just listened to the PC and he specifically said they would get the 29 practices in.
And the NCAA rules to determine the first day you're allowed to practice have already been posted in this thread.
You are allowed 29 practices before the first game and to determine the start date you count back 40 practice "units" from the first game. Each day the week of the game, or when school is in session, is 1 unit. Days when school isn't in session are 2 units. Sundays are excluded. Starting on the Friday before the game and countig back our 40th unit is tomorrow....therefore tomorrow is the earliest we can start practice.
