Florida started pratice on Friday. Why not LSU.

South Carolina, Florida and 22 other teams started practice Friday. Just wondering why we had to wait till Monday{or Tuesday] to start. Can anyone with inside knowledge tell why we didn't start Friday without the OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG..OMGS?

LSU didn't start practice on Friday to avoid upsetting the Muslims .

Doesn't it have to do with the start of the school year? If I'm not mistaken didn't Oregon have like a 2 or 3 week practice head start on LSU?
