They can't cancel a game that will have a meaningful effect on the final conference standings - especially since there are viable options to play the game. It were Mizzou vs. Vandy in November, maybe, but not this game.

Sent my email. I have no real preference where it is paid because even if it were moved to BR I have to work and can't make it.
Being a first responder though I know the strain to the system this can cause. I live 2 hours from BR and out dept was sent to help with the flooding. So I'm pretty sure Gainesville will have similar

Well McElwain thinks it's about his SEC standings and not public safety or anything else. If he can sneak out a win this weekend and UT has to go to A&M then plays Bama can still when the East.
