I tailgated in the Grove with my pals former frat brothers and it was a great experience. Before, during and after game OM fans friendly and polite.
Sat close to some LSU fans, younger group, that were total arse holes. Security came down a few times and they eventually calmed down enough. Not a good representation.

My experience: Fans at the grove are mostly friendly. Fans in the stadium are total assholes, stadium looks like a chandelier hung on a high school stadium and the square is an ok plac3 to hang out. Once is enough.

Be thankful they don't use cowbells.

The only bad experience I’ve had in Oxford was the cops getting on us for walking around with beer bottles (in koozies). Said we had to pour them in solo cups.

Other than that, their fans were generally docile and curious about us.

Took forever to get out of that town last night.

We went 2011 and I don’t remember gridlock like that.

I had a great time. One of my favorite places to take a road trip. Love looking at all their women. My gosh something must be in the water in that state. Never had any problems with their fans in 40 years other than some good natured hazing.

I was in Section O in a sea of red behind the LSU bench. But over in that north side corner I thought the LSU section was about to go one section against another. Man from my viewpoint that looked like it was about to get ugly until security got between the two fanbase. I asked the guy behind me if he knew what the problem was and he said he thought it was over them chanting L S U while they had a player rolling around on the ground injured.

It's the SEC. You're supposed to be friendly tailgating and complete assholes in the stands. Especially at OM. Even more so when you win at their place.

Well I wouldn’t say their fans were total assholes, but the grove is a logistical disaster, their concessions are way worse than ours, their stadium is full of micky mouse nonsense worthy of a minor League hockey team and what is it with them claiming their school is so classy? Those fans in their attire (all co Ed’s dresses like Vegas escorts and many too fat for such slutty outfits) and demeanor make Alabama and LSU look classy. Totally tacky, trashy and/or slutty, I mean we were literally laughing after the years of ole miss fans preparing me for an allegedly classy environment. They were ridiculous

Well of course I would rather tailgate in Baton Rouge. But I do travel to most of these road games and I’ll take Ole Miss any day of the century over the likes of Arkansas or Gainesville. Those two fanbases are dicks in and out of the stadium. At least the two Mississippi schools we play are for the most part friendly.

First off, frick Gainesville. Never going back to that shithole.

Other trips I've made: Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Oxford, Starkville, Athens. All of them were great trips. Florida fans are pricks. Every fan base has them, but in the Gators' case, it feels like all of them.
