When finebaum was asked about the coaching situation at lsu he said, "lsu staff was clueless at times during the coaching search. They wanted jimbo and then Herman. Lsu felt they got played by Herman."

He sounds real sick about lane kiffin leaving Bama.

He also said he wasn't sure about O, even though from everything I read on here was that he was pumping him up as the man for the job for weeks.

Finebaum was hawking Orgeron the whole time. Now, he is trying to belittle the decision and the program. He is always framing things to do so. Even when he says good things about LSU, it is only to create the illusion he is being balanced, doing his window dressing. He is very transparent once you know his shtick.

It is accurate. That's why it's so much more frustrating.

WTF would Lane Kiffin leave the best program in the country for the circus that is LSU as of late?

To live in BR

To coach our talent? He picks and chooses Louisiana talent away every year

To work for Coach O, a guy who used to work for him?

Face it. The guy is going to run out of fingers to put NC rings on in a few years at Bama.

He ain't coming.

It's very very difficult to work for Saban

He wants to prove that it's his system not Saban players and oversight that is successful. Ultimate LK wants another head coaching job. This is the next step.

I wish they would play back what he was saying over a week ago...LSU should hire Orgeron blah blah blah. He is such a fricking snake that he was only saying that thinking there was no way we would...so now he has to spin it another way to dis LSU.

I didn't care if he comes to LSU until I started reading absolutes form posters like you who claim to be LSU fans. Now I hope he does just to shut you people up who didn't get there way and will now take any opportunity to shite on the program they are supposed to be fans of. Grow up.

Serious question, has Jimbo gotten any raises out of the last 2 years because of all of this?

Pairing up Joey Freshwater with the talent at Bogie's would be a dynamite combo.

He also said the other day that "you have to take chances". In reference to Alabama hiring Saban.

Dumbass, it was LSU that took the flier on Saban and gave him what he wanted, not Bama

People posting Finebaum comments need to be shamed as bad as posters that link Bleacher Report articles.

Oh God, exercise your 2nd Ammendment rights, but a weapon and kill yourself.

Everyone thinks that Kiffin is leaving.

Maybe you don't know this. But Saban and Kiffin were arguing on the sideline this year--and when he was asked about it after the game, Saban said, "There was no argument, that was an arse-chewing.

I'm sure a guy whose really good at his job loves to hear shite like that.

You think he might like to beat Saban?

Orgeron and Kiffin have coached together at two stops, so apparently they respect each other.

I've lived in both places and Baton Rouge is a better place to live than Tuscaloosa: the overall environment, it's more of city, has more offer culturally, the food obviously, maybe traffic is the only drawback, so stop hating yourself.

If the money is offered, there's a good chance he'll take it. It is attractive to work for Saban and pad your resume with the best talent in the country. But there's a reason there's so much wear and tear on the revolving door of Alabama's staff.
