I feel like when I listen to AFR is 65% commercials, 10% Saints, 15% LSU, 10% stupid shite about himself or Carly. Finebaum has some idiotic callers but for the most part Paul is at least knowledgable about the sport and keeps a level head. I find myself switching over to XM away from 104.5 every time this day.

Mascona is a huge tool. The only reason I don't switch to another channel is because I like the local talk. If there was another viable option I would probably listen to that. Mascona is lucky he has the ESPN logo behind his name, otherwise I would equate him to Chad Blouin. They are by far the most worthless local radio hosts out there.

I don't think that lowly of him, but my problem with him is he is one of these guys that always has to take what he thinks is a contrarian position to elicit reactions.

He's not bad when season starts and it's all LSU and reactions to the games. But yea all summer and now is horrible listening to him.

I would rather listen to Mascona 10 times before listen to Finebaum. I personally like his show a lot. Finebaum is terrible.

That's what I do. I listen to all the local show's podcasts and it is a lot better. No commercials and I can skip over his stupid bullshite.

Finebaum today..I was there for Spears...had a caller call in ranting about CK & comparing what he did to what the Cowboys were not allowed to do regarding the helmet decals they wanted to put on their helmets. The decals were to salute the 5 murdered Dallas police officers. Finebaum quickly disconnected, telling the caller this was the wrong venue for that. After he & all of ESPN have spent the last 3 days giving air time to every black liberal jock/former jock giving the liberal take on this issue.
