About where LSU started in the pre-season...

These damn ten win seasons and top 15 finishes.

Same as last season. We stuck in neutral. #14 AINT Elite. #5 in the S.E.C.. #3 in the S.E.C. West. That's mediocrity personified! (Despite the positively rosy whoopin and hollerin of the Pumpers, Cheerleaders and Buttock Smoochers)

I hope this is a joke, but if not...

Two 10-win seasons, following a 13-win season, is hardly mediocrity "personified".

Now, if 10 wins becomes our ceiling for a number of years, then there would be a reason for concern.

Well considering the #1 just played in the national championship (and we beat them) and the #2 was one second away from being in the national championship, I think you're looking at numbers too hard.

There are over at least 115 teams in the nation that would kill for that type of "mediocrity"

We started the season ranked 12th in the AP and were 14th in that poll before the Outback Bowl.

You clearly don't know what "mediocrity" or "personified" mean.

And I can guarantee before the season you said we would take a huge step back because of the departures on defense? Did you not? You sack of shite.

Would like to have seen Michigan State finish at #2. I think an argument could be made for that given the way they finished.

That certainly wouldn't sit well with the Aub fans, and that's just fine by me.

Lsu was the only team to win a bowl and not get moved up in the rankings.

I don't think you people realize that you cannot win the national title every year and finish #1 every year.

Last year we had a fresh QB. This year he lights it up but the defense is full of new faces.

It's not mediocrity it's called needing experience. We were in the title game just 2 years ago and would have won it had the media not pushed for a rematch.
