is this an old thread?
i want to forget how bad Jennings was in the Bama game.
Let me have hope.
I would start Diarse in the McNeese game and run a single wing for a half and let #7 get his 200 yards, and then give the ball to Harris and tell him to air it out.

Huh? Brandon Allen? He was getting run out of town because after his sophomore season his stats looked identical to Jennings'. People are too short sighted; Allen looked horrible at the same point in his career as Jennings.
But now since he's improved and his team looks to be legit, we wonder why Jennings is as good as him?
Jennings has a stronger arm, is more mobile and just as accurate..
Allen's Sophomore stats: 258 att, 1,552 yards, 13 TDs, 10 INTs, 49.6 % comp
Jennings' sophomore: 227 att, 1,611 yards, 11 TDs, 7 INTs, 48.9 % comp
Hmmm...Jennings has every chance to improve, just like Allen did. But it's all good -- we're all entitled to our opinions so I respect anyone giving one.

AJs learning curve appears to be very steep. I have very little faith that he will eventually get there. Stranger things have happened but........

Jennings is every bit as talented as him, if not more
Not sure if serious. If so, hope your employer doesn't have testing for cause

Huh? You don't think Jennings is as talented as freaking Brandon Allen? lol did you not read the stats of both as full-time starters in their sophomore season?
Sometimes I think some of you want to feel miserable. The same way you're talking about Jennings compared to Mettenberger is the same way Arkansas fans talked about Brandon Allen compared to Ryan Mallett.
lol Now I need to be drug tested in thinking Jennings is as talented as Allen when Jennings arguably had a better year than Allen at the same point in their career?

Did you not read that? Or are you just trying to troll?
Edit: Didn't see the word "trolling" in your avatar originally...nevermind.

Thanks Anthony.
We get it, you like Brandon Allen.

With AJ...It starts with the plays that are coming in from the sideline. Les & Cam should have known what they were dealing with before the season started and adjusted the routes to fit the QB. I may be wrong but I didn't see a noticeable change in the offensive strategy from the beginning of the season. I attribute that to Les' stubbornness. Keep failing at the same scheme over and over and expect different results.
BH is a different situation. He showed what he's capable of in the 2nd half of the Miss St game. Sure... they were playing off the ball and he had more cushion to work with. He was still throwing bullets and maybe could have been doing that late in the season "if" they gave him the experience and confidence during the first 4/5 games. Would anyone not trade a loss early last season for a win in that bowl game? Same record but we finish with a win and a more developed QB...
One of our QB's has (+) tools with his arm and legs and could be a very dangerous weapon. The other has average tools but certainly better than some very successful QB's from the past. DK from Florida comes to mind. I'm hoping that this year brings a more dynamic offensive strategy which surprises all of us.
There is absolutely NO reason that our offense shouldn't be better than average. Anything less is simply a failure by our coaching staff. I suspect that all but maybe 10 (and that's a stretch) OC's in the country would trade offensive talent with LSU. That number may be as few as ~5.

Using Auburn as a watershed game, take a look at Dural's receiving yardage respective to the number of team rushes and tell me if you still feel that way.
I agree that they should have been aware of what they had before the season started, but once they realized they were up shite creek, they did the best they could to manage the position and win games.

we been disappointed too many times with the QBs over the last few years
I didn't think the QB play in 2011 was disappointing. I don't think the QB play for the 2nd 1/2 of 2012 or 2013 was disappointing.
2014 QB play was disappointing, but I didn't exactly figure a So. and true Fr. were going to make us forget Mett.
Any of us thinking we know what's gonna place from the get-go with our QB is only fooling themselves. imo
