Soon as I read this thread he blew his knee. This is gonna SUCK Friday. Someone is going to get hurt and be out for Spring ball.... Why on earth would you play a college game on natural turf three days before another one. This field will be destroyed. Not to mention rain is coming through there Thursday so it will be a wet mess.

Why would they even do this? fricking retarded.

Cause the field was overused with high school games and the center was worn out. If I were Miles I'd express my unhappiness with the bowl officials. It'd be better to play on dirt.

Well, it won't be Scott or Keiland. If it was anybody, I'd put my money on Murphy, poor kid is accident prone.

That's ridiculous. You can't abuse a field this much when you are hosting a Jan 1st Bowl Game. That's a disgrace. The NCAA should step in and set guidelines to insure that field is well prepped for 2 Bowl Games.

Aren't we used to playing on shoddy-soddy? Huge advantage LSU.

That's what I figure. Tiger Stadiums turf has been shitty for years.

Ha ha ha ha. Les Miles call someone out. Never going to happen. The 2007 Miles might have but not the 2009 Miles. You would have a better chance of Mike Slive comming out and saying something.

OH my GOD. It's football! Y'all are being drama queens!

The field is poor, but both teams play on the same field.

Bad field will probably favor LSU. In any other season, I wouldn't believe that....but this year I do.

I am not really worried about what team will have the advantage on the field. I am just amazed that two bowl games, one of which is being called the best bowl game outside of the BCS games, is being played on this nightmare of a field.

I just hope it doesn't cost a prospective pro player his career because of it.

Too many games in the last month ( Southern Classic and 8 high school state championship games). A lot less rain than normal. No money to maintain the field. Sad.

Not moving it. Unless the structure fails, the game will be played in the Citrus Bowl.
