Yes, it was an overthrow.
There was a guy along the back of the EZ that he was trying to hit. He had to go across his body and about half the length of the field...and he put too much on it.

Watched him the whole game. He reminds me an awful lot of Mett. Franks will be a pure pocket guy who will thrive in a timing passing game. But he can throw well on the move and launch a gorgeous deep ball with loft and carry.
In other words, the kid is a very good QB and not a raw athlete trying to be a QB.

Franks is on a very poor team. He showed a great arm. His receivers couldn't create any space and his offensive line looked like they were stuck in mud. I just hope that he can make it through the season without a major injury.

He is from the wakhola area my son's team played a team in baseball from there. It is mostly made up of rednecks and country folks I don't imagine they have large selection of athletes at that school even though Frank's goes there.
