If DeSean came in earlier I'd have him as the earlier front runner. But, who's to say we can't have two receiving threat tightends.

It was funny because I had so many "experts" around me. On a play where the TE caught a TD off of a play action fake, I believe, right before the snap some schmo yelled out "it's a DAMN Run!" like he was saying the offense was too predictable. I hope the defenses we face are just like that moron.

What? we never had a FB line up in the slot during that game.

Copeland was out wide on 1/9, not slot from what I remember. I think two times. Could be wrong about wide vs slot.

Ahhh, the rant...
Fullback out wide on 1/9 = horrible play calling, who was calling those plays, why didn't we try something different?!?!?!
Full back in slot 2013 = Cam Cameron is reinventing the offense, it's no longer Les'

it's cute that people read my post as me being panicked, when all I was calling attention to was the fact that one formation was a little uncommon.

when did the rant get so sensitive?

I think this is why.

You might not have been panicked but you certainly stated that it made you nervous.

but the idea of the FB being thrown to out there makes me a little nervous.

In 1997 at Indiana, Cam's running backs caught 99 passes. His fullback caught 54 for 422 yards.

In 2001, Jeremi Johnson, who played for a number of years in the NFL and was built very similarly to Copeland, caught 16 passes for 213 yeards and 1 TD as a fullback.

am i supposed to want four pages or avoid four pages? and how much breaking down of "FB in the slot" should i do? should i say that he was lined up near the visitor's side hashmarks near the 43 yard-line? that there were two other WRs also lined up? that jeremy hill was in the backfield? that there was a guy holding up what seemed to be a ten foot tall camera stand next to CLM?

i was so nervous that i peed in my pants a little. a very little.
i'll try to be far more literal when describing my emotional states, in the future. when people post things like "DIAF," do you think that someone's house is on fire and call the fire department? when you read the comment "kill yourself," do you call the police to warn them of a bully encouraging someone to commit suicide?

When someone posts that they are nervous about a formation run in the spring game and starts a thread about it, I assume they are being pretty literal and in fact worried about it.

I remember Sean Payton giving Dallas a beat down using the FB a couple of years ago. He spread him out all over the field. Karney FB saints, his best game Dec 10 2006 Monday night put it on Dallas.

hackneyed troll attempts.

what is the highest level of football you have coached? = you lack the right to talk about LSU football unless you have the requisite football coaching experience.

it does not work on the video game so it must not work IRL = assuming that i can't discuss LSU football except under the influence of video game football.

i'm sure your troll attempts work with the more insecure posters and have been wildly successful in past instances, but i really don't care.

continue the narrative!

so now i'm nervous and worried? gosh, this is turning into a lot of work.
