My favorite LSU Basketball play was Derrick Taylor's 35 foot jump shot to beat Auburn in 1982. (This was only a 2-point shot)

*I never saw Maravich play, but I'm sure he has probably the 50 best individual LSU Basketball plays.

Favorite basketball play was the Jabari Smith behind the back fake and dunk against Arizona in 2000 I think.

I understand that but it's not everyday you see a hailmary as time expires to win a game. Especially one that probably should've been picked off.

I'm sure someone else has already mentioned it, but my all time favorite was the first play from scrimmage in the 1969 Auburn game:

For me, the most memorable play was the Herb Tyler keeping the ball on the option against Florida, 1997. I had seats behind the endzone and knew that was a touchdown before he broke the line of scrimmage...and you could just feel that the Visor and the #1 ranking was going down.

Barely winning over freakin Kentucky is not even close to the greatest play in LSU history. It was cool and all, but the circumstances surrounding the play are so-so.

Bluegrass Miracle is one of the greatest plays in college football history. The circumstances surrounding the play are:

1. Guy Morris prematurely drenched in Gatorade.
2. UK fans prematurely rush the field.
3. Improbable Hail Mary through four defenders on a tip with no time left.

The play was awesome.

It's probably my second favorite after JR's TD to Doucet against ASU in 2005. Huge play especially considering how low the state was at that point.

2:29:20 mark

My fav is @ 1:22 Mark

Spears pick 6. Awesomeness!

ETA: lol at Danielson. "Come on the offensive line cannot hold up that long." After the previous play where Spears sacks White on maybe a 2 Mississippi.

07 Hester's TD against UF
07 Flynn to Byrd

Not usually mentioned, but the swing pass J. Addai took for a score to win at the Swamp in 2004. Play even made $aban jump up!
