Sou Cal 1979. Even though Tigers lost a squeaker to the eventual National Champion, Cholly Macs' last team fought like real Tigers before 80,000 roaring fans who did not let up the entire game.

'79 USC was the loudest continually that I ever heard until the 2003 Uga game. And there were "only" 78,322 fans there in '79.

Southern Cal 1979. Others have come close but from well before the game till even after the game, that game with USCw has to be the loudest that I attended.
