Seeing Carter's name pop up on here recently had me thinking of other tigers with comparable speed.

Xavier Carter
Bennie Brazell
Trindon Holiday

Who's on your list?

Over what distance? If you are limiting it to 40 yards than Patrick Peterson is way up there as well. At track distances, most football fast Tigers probably couldn't hang with the world class sprinters listed in the OP.

Dude had freaking hands of stone, though. If he could have caught anything at all, he would have been awesome.

He's clearly the closest thing to a true world class sprinter to ever dress out at LSU, though.

Peterson was the fastest in pads that Ive seen. It was like he was running downhill.

Fastest 240 lb guy? Jeremy Hill, never saw that guy get caught from behind, I don't care who was in the secondary.

Trindon
Carter
Logan

and to many others to name. LSU is SpeedU and has been for a long time.

I agree, Peterson is the fastest guy I've ever watched in pads.

Linemen wise...

Track speed: Trai Turner. Amazing how that big ole belly got moving when he ran the 40 at the combine.

With pads: Chad Lavalais. Man was his first step quick.

Xavier Carter would have to be the fastest with Trindon though.

Xavier did stuff on the track in college that were pretty legendary.

Bennie B was in the Olympics as well as the NFL wasn't he?
