Fans hating other fans...

What the hell is up with that? We have baseball fans hating on Chris and K-Lady because they are attention getters and lame, etc, etc. Hell, these people are the ones that show up night in, and night out, and during weekday games. Something tells me the people bitching can't say the same.
Basketball fans bitching about students not showing up or adults leaving early. What the hell. Stay for the end, the team needs you.
The bottom line is supporting LSU athletics with money doesn't cut it in my book. I'd take the poor college kid in right field getting rowdy on a two strike count, and the grad. sitting upper level baseline over some quiet arse wallet stuffed VIP sitting behind the plate...err...in the suite anyday. And the same goes to the people 5 rows up at midcourt.
Screw this whole, "I bought the ticket and I'm entitled to leave" bullshite. When you walk out of a 2 point game with 3 minutes to go, that shows character right there, or lack thereof. Maybe I should leave class early because of traffic...or we should all leave work early. Or let's show up and half arse it.
frick that, give it your all. Buying tickets doesn't help these guys win games, showing up and being loud wins game. Kudos to Chris and other baseball superfans, kudos to anyone who went from the Box to the PMAC yesterday...I saw lots of you. And kudos to my fellow students for standing the entire basketball game. I saw another football school do this yesterday...but the adults did it too, funny. At Texas, the Erwin Center, dare I say, was rockin. We can do it too if the old farts get off their asses. I saw a few (yes, maybe 3) fans across the student section at the PMAC try their damndest to get the crowd amped. And once again, it took a close game with 2 minutes left to get SOME people standing.
Please people, be loud, be proud, and support athletics with your voice and not just your money. It's a shame a school with so many championships has a fanbase across major sports that loves to talk the talk, but only seems to walk the walk when a new stadium opens or a title is on the line. Why don't we do it for every significant game?
Lastly, if you don't want to do that...then shut it about the people that do. Next time I stand up at a baseball game with a big pitch coming and someone behind me tells me to sit down...all they are getting is this:

This is probably the thing that pisses me off the most about baseball games. Generally the people that won't stand are lards.

I know baseball is a more 'chill' sport to watch. But when it's a tie game, and we need some help, I'm standing when I want to regardless of what the lazy shite behind me wants. And if some usher wants to take it up with me, then so be it...

And then you proceed to bash the fans you don't agree with.
Nice.

Who said you can't? Have you not taken reading comprehension, yet?
Read the first post of this thread slowly.

All i'm saying is STAND UP AT THE DAMN GAME. If you want to sit down I'm sure your couch is perfectly capable of taking care of you.
