So Purple can't hit, and Gold can't field?

So from what we see in fall ball
Fri. Lange
Sat. Poche
Sun. Latz
MW. Smith (if we don't go pitcher by comitee.

Does that sound about right? Maybe Bain can get a spot but from what these guys have done in the fall those 4 look like the real deal

I agree with that weekend rotation. We knew Lange and Poche would be mainstays there before the fall, and Latz is coming along very nicely as well. Can't really say about midweek since I haven't seen these, but Valek could also be a nice option there with his starting experience. Bain hasn't been pitching this fall due to surgery, but once back, he could fill the long relief role he had for a good part of last year, and be a 4th/5th starter when needed. Sure is great to have so many options.

Smith is a juco transfer and has done pretty good this fall from what I've read in scuba's post.

Well, if he's looking good, then why not? We have so much pitching depth this year.

How has Jake Godfrey looked this fall? Any chance for him to be in the rotation?

You're right about Norman not pitching lately, not since the 9th. I'll keep an eye on him this afternoon and let you know what I see.
