I skipped Reid when typing this summary. Edited OP.

People who go to these can tell you more, but our pitching staff should be one of the best in the country, especially with Latz coming along like he did today. The concern for a while has been our hitting, since we have to replace 8 players in the starting lineup from last year. Nice to see the newcomers get some hits.

Assuming that this is a question on how he had a sb and a cs while going 1-3, Coach had him stay at 2nd after the cs and he then stole 3rd, before scoring on a throwing error by Wofford after Fraley's ground out to 4-3.

Deichmann has been going nuts on the basepaths.

I like to think it's the "Cannizaro effect".

I think the hitting will come around, these kids have been playing pretty much non stop since Feb, some are fighting injuries and I'm sure they all could use some down time.

Cannizaro

Got lots of praise for the great hitting team last year. This year, bats are looking weak.

CPM sucks, but I do think Cannizaro is solid.

After November 9, they can put everyday practice on the shelf till next February and concentrate on school and the winter holidays. I'll miss watching them scrimmage, though.

Hope Latz can stay healthy. He looks like the real deal. Very nice weekend rotation brewing. Hopefully someone will step up and seize that #4/mid-week spot, and some good relief arms will materialize to lock down late innings. GT!

He'll have to hope they walk him.
