Well that confirms that this jackass and his budget battles are to blame.
all the finger pointing and blame can and should be dumped with all its weight and fury right on this weak, gutless frickers head. All the embarrassment, negative press, lost recruits, hard feelings, and misplaced criticism so this prick could play politics.
He should be terminated immediately.

F. King Alexander vastly underestimates the direct correlation between LSU's national prominence in football and its effect on recruiting.
Look at Alabama's undergraduate admissions since Saban arrived and look at LSU in 2008 following our national championship.
I came from out of state and I'd be lying if I didn't say I originally started looking into LSU as a result of being familiar with the football program's success. That wasn't the sole factor by any means, but it made me aware of LSU living 500 miles away.

This also proves why Emmert was so valuable.
More than losing Saban, losing Emmert was the start of the decline.

Why the surprise? This is exactly what EVERYONE said happened. Mascona went into great detail on AFR this past Monday. He even confirmed that Jimbo was a done deal before King fricked it all up.

The problem is that PRIVATE MONEY would have paid for all of it.

Yes, but it doesn't fit his social views of how a University should grow.

So he basically confirmed the Hayride article explaining that the decision was political, quite literally, and had nothing to do with football, despite the fact that Miles would have been almost instantaneously snatched up by Missouri or South Carolina or any number of the other big time programs looking for a coach and his buyout would have been offset, and despite the fact that no school funds would have been used. It was all about appearances. Period. And the opportunity to have Jimbo Fisher as our HC is gone. Along with all the money that would have come to the school if we had been able to stop the decline under Fisher and continue to compete at an elite level.
Fire this fricking moron immediately. If I were the Dean of Students at LSU, I'd be calling for this fricktard's head just as loudly as if I were Alleva.

As I have been posting
As long as F King Alexander and Alleva are in charge LSU will not win another National Championship.
Miles meets all of their goals for the program.
Until they go, LSU will be mediocre as the goal and if they fall short the 90's are here again.
Further they took the best part of Les Miles and damaged him, recruiting.
Fire Alenaxander and Alleva now

Well this pretty much validates DALSU and Random hero because it basically means the AD's office was making a change and was vetoed by this retard.
It really just makes this all even more depressing.
Jimbo and his staff could be out shoring up this recruiting class and finishing it out strong. LSU football would be set up beautifully for the next 10+ years.
Instead, Alexander stepped in, pulled the plug on the entire transaction, and probably changed the entire fate of the football program for at least the next decade.

How about the athletic department not pay the university 6-10 mill this year at a time of football crisis?
People don't really know where the money is coming from anyway right.
I'm not saying miles should or shouldn't have been fired. But if the reason we can't spend money on the football program is the academic side is struggling, then why keep donating to TAF for ATHLETICS just to have it given to the academic side. What about the nutrition center? They are about to lose everything

How can you blame alleva here? He was trying to save the program and got undercut by a short sighted a-hole.
