Eyewitness Accout of Guy Falling in South Endzone

I sit right underneath the overhang in the south endzone (which I thought was only good for protecting me from the rain, but apparently it keeps me from being fallen on from drunk people above).
It happened right in front of me and I will never forget the image of that guy's body flying through the air. Happened so fast that not many people saw it. The guy does a complete somersault from the top deck and falls 10-15 feet and lands on two other people (luckily for him landing feet first).
I moved to help the guy who had fallen and he had a pretty good gash on his temple. He gets up and, Hand to God, says the following sentence, "I need to go to the bathroom." He proceeds to walk up the stairs to find said bathroom. Someone tells him he needs to sit down and wait and he says, "Okay." AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED!! I don't think he even realized he had come close to killing himself.
The person who got it the worst was an older gentleman who ended up crashing down a few stairs. Fans were attending to him and making sure he didn't try to get up while waiting for medics. Don't know if he hit his head from the guy falling on him or hitting the stairs, but he had a complete blank look and was certainly concussed. The older gentleman and the guy who fell were taken away on boards with their necks restrained.
It was nuts.
I asked my buddy the following question, "If that guy would have died right there in front of us would we have left the game? Could we have cheered in the same capacity we did the rest of that great game?" Food for thought.

Yeah, I didn't see the guy actually fall but I was sitting about 10 rows in front of the incident. Saw them both taken away on backboards with neck braces and the dude that fell was covered in blood

Crazy. I am in the upper west and the rumor ran around pretty quickly in the stadium. Hope everyone recovers quickly!

If the older gentleman would have died, it would have bothered me. The drunk guy, not so much. I would have figure him killing himself probably saved a few lives out on the roads.

I really hope the drunk bastard that fell is charged for negligent injuring or something similar. I hope the old guy gets enough in the settlement to pay for season tickets until he has no more use for his body.

This is going to force the athletic department to make changes regarding the drunks they allow in the stadium.

yes! i love to drink and "pass a good time" but irresponsibility that ends in injuring others should be dealt with severly. in a way, it is similar to drunk driving. i hope the old guy sues the shite out of the kid.

Man if that guy would have died in front of me I doubt I'd be able to focus on the game.

I'd like to hear from the south upper as to HOW he fell. The railing is high enough NOT to "accidentally" fall over.

It really does suck for the guy that he fell on. The drunk guy probably just got a few stitches and feels fine now

Yeah, I went to a game drunk as hell..feel down the three stairs(didn't hit anyone since no one was around me other then friends). Didn't even stay the entire game..knew I was too drunk to be in public after that an left the game.
Sad thing is LSUPD let me in the game after knowing I was that drunk. Should have been turned around at the gate.

I hope so, but really if you are this intoxicated shouldn’t somebody have noticed. He could have easily killed the guy he fell on or a woman or child.

I am fairly surprised it hasn't happened off of the east or west uppers.
