Everyone on here is crucifying Lowery for lying and having a less than desirable character.

Explain Jefferson's lie to his father that he knew nothing about the fight and he left before it started. His lie to his father really bothers me.

The only reason to lie is because you have something to hide.

If you say because he didn't want to get in trouble for curfew, you haven't given it any thought.

You obviously didn't have strict parents.

Lying to your parents and lying to police are 2 totally different things.

He didn't kick the guy, he saw the pocket collapse, decided to take off and the kids head was in the way.

I have no interest in crucifying Lowery. And I have no interest in the words exchanged between a son and a father. That's their business and no one else's.

You would be correct in that observation or opinion except his father went out and did and interview and repeated his lie. Jefferson knew his father was in contact with the media and let his father lie for him.

That is when it becomes other peoples business

It was REPORTED that Jefferson's father said Jefferson TOLD him he was not there. There are several ways where inaccuracies could have taken place in this game of telephone

Regardless, it's completely irrelevant.

Why is anybody required to tell the truth to the media? Facts come out as the investigation continues. Who knows and who cares what Jordan told his dad and why his dad said anything to the media?

Did you hear the call between JJ and his dad? Maybe his dad is one with less than desireable character.....OR....wait for it.....simply trying to defend his son.

I'm sure at that time they had no idea what a shitstorm this was going to turn into.
