I assure you that it is not necessarily as easy as you seem to think that it is. Of course, this wouldn't be the Rant if you had to know what you are talking about to post here.
The only way a helo would be cool is if they actually did a touch and go at the 50.
KC-10/KC-135 can give me some gas so I can do multiple burner fly-bys, otherwise stay out of the fighter business (I love tankers more than several of my family members)

Where was the beef with what I said? I didn't say it was easy to set up.
Was it the tanker? Because I have been to a football game with a tanker flyover flanked by fighters.
So seriously, wtf are you going on about?

so apparently there is a strong chance of a flyover the band dept was not totally sure though... so i would say that there prob is a flyover this weekend

I know it sucks that we dont play more "modern" music but what else would we play honestly... songs that are for competitive marching bands that you have never heard or something you can atleast tap your foot too.

In a nutshell, extremely shitty communication between the ground and the flighter wing. People in the stadium had no good way to communicate with the fighters, it had to be relayed by the BR airport.

They are practicing again... I live at least a mile from the stadium, so I can't see them, but they are definitely loud...
I guess they are just doing one pass today... must've got it right the first time...

Just another confirmation. I was walking from South Stadium Lot to the Design building. The jets (two together then one trailing behind) came in from the south and went directly over the stadium. Awesome sight even if they were just practicing.
