No I don't, duke v...this is a thread about Bama's easy schedule, not about who's older or who's a better fan. Either take part in the discussion, or don't take part at all

at 63 I have been a LSU fan for many years it has been obvious
that Auburn and Bama have been took care of to the detriment of the rest of the league but it is nice to see it put down on paper thank you!!!!@

It is amazing that Clemson is playing a harder SEC east schedule than Alabama.

Win them all and everyone else

not sure why they deserve the cotton bowl with the same record,

Ummmmmm because the Cotton Bowl picked them.

I'm going to tell you a little secret. IRL Rick Baker (Cotton Bowl President & CEO) and ATT (Cotton Bowl sponsor) give zero fricks about what LSU-or any other team for that matter-deserves.

They care about maximizing profits.

How dare they pit Texas A&M (the team one year removed from the Big 12 and led by the Heisman winner) against former rival Oklahoma, at a near middle ground stadium to both school's fan bases, in an attempt to generate revenue?

How dare they ignore the wants and feelings of LSU fans?

Nvmnd. One of the guys on the Cotton Bowl executive board is married to a gal who got an online MBA from UA. Soooooo, obviously scheduling bias.

I'll tell you a less kept secret. The sec has considerable sway on which bowls take which teams. I'm sure they just wanted to reward a long time sec powerhouse like A&m though.

Bama vs. Florida / Georgia? Think we'll ever see that?

are we as LSU fans really upset about being a member of the SEC and then having to play an SEC schedule?

This is not about our schedule, it's about bama's home cooked schedule.

For the love of God , will one of u gumps answer when was the last time bama played both Florida and Georgia in the same regular season?! I really don't want to have to search for it because I've got a feeling I'd be going waaaay back.

Probably near the same time that you played Tennessee and Georgia in the same season. You know, the whole permanent rivals thing.

Oh yea!!! The permanent rivals thing! The one that gives bama an inside track to the seccg every year! Glad u mentioned that. Because keeping those "rivalries" alive is much more important than scheduling equally and randomly.

By the way, was LSU "protected" when our 2005 team went 11-1 but lost the SEC championship? HELL NO-they sent us to the...wait for it... the Chic Fil A bowl.

Unless LSU wins the SEC we generally get the shaft on bowl assignments. A first ever game against Michigan with all the "Les Miles-Michigan Man" intrigue would be a no-brainer for the league office, right?

Right ?

I could say a lot of stupid shite and ask a bunch of stupid questions but hell it all comes down too

Win your games and the schedule will not mean shite.

It is very possible that lsu could play 5 of the preseason top 10 this year (assuming USCe wins the east) and also a top 15 TCU.

Alabama
aTm
Florida
Georgia

How many will Alabama play

aTm as a top 10 and the east champion and lsu at 14. Wow.

Daaaaaaaaayuuuuum. I had to go back 22 years (154 in bulldog years) and finally found when bama played Georgia and Florida in the same season. 1991-before the sec became 2 divisions. No wonder nobody wanted to answer my question. And they were due to play Uga this year but nobody at the scheduling office needs that, here's Kentucky instead. What a pitiful joke. You Lsu fans who are condoning this, get your heads outta your asses.

Yeah lsu should have played Kentucky and Alabama should have played Georgia.

Don't worry Bama will get Georgia next year when they have a new QB and not a seasoned senior QB.

I think the east and west champ from the previous year should play each other the next year.

So you're not only a complete homer, but you're a retarded homer. I've already said multiple times that I'm not a fan of the permanent rivals.
