PJ, anyone going undefeated in the SEC is all but guaranteed to make it to the NC right? So why not have your SEC schedule as easy as possible in order to do so. Not one fan would complain of an easy schedule if it meant a NC.

Thus, yeah we aren't happy bama avoided UGA at their place and we had to take it instead. This beat who you line up against bs is idiotic if certain SEC teams don't have to play top teir SEC east teams.

I think the results of the Cotton Bowl and Chic-fil-a bowls speak for themselves in terms of teams meriting their placement. Not to mention the bowl has the final say in the matter of which team they choose, not the SEC.

That originates mostly at LSU. Saban, who had to play Florida every year when he was LSU’s coach from 2000-2004, points out that the only equal path to a championship comes when everybody plays everybody.

go argue w/ Tennessee. they agree with us.

Hey I have NEVER said Bama doesn't get an advantage. I am just saying BEAT who is on the schedule and things will work out..... It IS what it is............

OK...... What about Oregon??? They play a shite schedule and [like Ohio state] could go unbeaten and KNOCK an LSU out of the title game???[With one losss]. LSU plays a MUCH tougher schedule. What is Bama supposed to do???? Schedule Texas and Oklahoma and USC EVERY YEAR????

HEY it really doesn't matter. Saban has a machine that WILL contend EVERY YEAR NO MATTER WHO THEY PLAY......... FACT................

I am TIRED OF WHINNY BABIES....................

A least you are on board with that

I tell ya what I dispise almost as much as Bama, are the Tiger fans on here who keep saying, "line up and beat your opponent"...hell! WE DID THAT TWO YEARS AGO, and still had to replay a team (we had already beaten on the road) that should not have been in the NC!!! Doesn't matter who we beat the dog shite out of and go undefeated, a team that DIDN'T EVEN GO to the SECCG still got a second chance! Had that been us, do you think we would have gotten a second chance??? Me neither... And yes, I'm still Butthurt over that NCCG...

Truth. We played the toughest schedule in the country in 2012, but I have no doubt we'd have been left out of the ncg if we'd lost to bama AT bama and the roles were reversed. Anybody who thinks otherwise isn't paying attention.

Actually, with LSUs SOS in 2011, yall would have gotten the rematch against us had we just made one of those GD FGs in regulation

Before kickoff on Nov 5th ESPN pundits were already speculating on the potential for a rematch

Maybe if you weren't trying to kick 50+ yarders. But It would have been ok st vs bama if we lose that one. You probably don't know our history of getting passed over by bowls. We beat A&M's arse last year by the way, not sure why they deserve the cotton bowl with the same record, but that's for another thread.
