Personally I could not care less if LSU or Alabama ever win another game. Having said that i think it a bit presumptuous that everyone in the national media and Bama folks are talking about the iron bowl deciding one of two spots in the BCS championship meaning this game is an afte thought to them. As I said, I do not like LSU but I do respect LSU and it looks to me like Bama is walking into an ambush.

Bama is walking into a game of hard-fought, ugly sloppiness.

frick the pundits. It's much more satisfying to win when you're expected to lose than to win when you're expected to win.

Also walking into a game w/ no QB and a baffoon on the sidelines. However due to our sheer athleticism and talent on both sides of the ball we'll be in this game until either of our weaknesses screw us over

Saban is well aware of what can happen. They (the Bama football team) will be prepared.

This week is shaping up alot like Fla week of this year. If we can get the offensive production of that game, we will win, simple as that. Alabama is a good team, but know where near the team as last year, which all the experts obviously are still seeing! We match up better with Bama than we did with Au. And This game is in Death Valley! I like our chances!

I'd rather play a team that can pass over a team that can run...

Just like "everyone in the national media and Auburn folks" overlooked LSU two weeks ago. Makes you think they're on to something.

It's entirely possible to fight your way out of an ambush.

the best description yet of LSU. if we didn't fight so hard, we'd be the worst team in the sec. that's really why i like les. if he get's him some offensive coaching, we're gonna be good. if he doesn't, he's doomed. that's life.

No, he was referring to the sniper atop the scoreboard.

two issues with this game:
1. CBS
2. Game time 2:30
LSU has trouble with GD commentating games especially day games.
Nothing to do with who we play. We are better when we had more time to drink, shout and get roudy in TS.

This all I've heard on the radio call in shows all week up here.

What does Danielson have to do with how well we play on Saturday? Other than the game starting in the sunshine, it will end under the lights and will become a Saturday Night in Death Valley.

It should NOT matter when LSU plays. If they are the better team with a better gamplan they should win. ANYONE that thinks otherwise is a fool.

Start drinking the week before

But seriously, this Alabama team is worse than last year's and they haven't really proven anything yet. They may be good, but until they beat LSU and wins the Iron Bowl.

Only difficult games on the road so far have been Arkansas (neeeded a comeback) and South Carolina (LOST). So yeah LSU has more than a great shot.

No offense Jake, just using your post to make a point.

I know the record in day games, blah blah blah... but day games are the big games and the reason we've been losing those is due to coaching and some occassional lackluster play. I wish everyone would just get off the day game Debbie Downer thing. Ridley said they prefer to play early because they aren't waiting all day to play.. I believe him, the kid is straight up.

It's time to reverse that trend and send Bama home hurtin'... before sunset.
