Sounds like CKM is dealing with a bunch of divas in an appropriate way. Nobody is bigger than the team and the rules/kulcha no matter if you've won a natty.

Yes Coach is dealing with some big time cultural issues. These ladies are not handling success very well.

Mulkey probably let way more go on last year but was not gonna put up with the divas this year, NIL be damned

Even in this new age where players have a lot more power, you do not let them take over your program

You can still balance all the off court stuff but when it's time to get on the court you better lace them and play for the team

Reese is lucky she's still around as well

She needs to ask them one question. You want to win championships or be famous on social media?

If you want to win then put social media to the side and let’s get to work. Other than that, they have unexpected injuries that’s slowing them down. This isn’t something any other team doesn’t have to deal with and they had to deal with it last year so this isn’t new.

What’s new is the attention they’re getting from the national prospective and they’ll just have to learn how to let it drive them to work harder and prove them all wrong.

I wonder why? I would’ve figured she would have been welcomed with open arms

Like how do you know this?

This is the type of unfounded bullshite that people who don't know any better pick up on and start spreading.

Here is what we know:

-Reese was causing problems and needed time away to re-focus. She seems to be fine now.

-Poole apparently did something worse and has been let go.

This doesn't mean the progam is falling apart and it certainly doesn't point to a "bad culture". The coach wouldn't stand for that. It means a couple of individuals strayed a bit and were held accountable for it.

It would be a "bad culture" if Mulkey didn't address any of the issues and just let the players play on.

So you're just going to drop a drive-by race card when you really have no idea what is going on.

And maybe the Reese thing wasn't that deep to even begin with. The team seems fine. Let's be honest...Poole wasn't gonna see the floor much with how this team is constructed.

Kim is one of the winningest coaches of all time for a reason. Team first and if you don’t like either leave or she will send you packing. She did it at Baylor and she is doing it now at LSU. In Kim Mulkey I trust

Unfortunately, one is worth millions of dollars, and the other is worth almost nothing financially.

She doesn't need to ask that question.

She needs to just lay out the requirements to be in the LSU program and work with them to want to live up to it. In the end, if a player wants to spend the summer away doing everything she can to boost her social media profile, there's nothing she can or should do about that.

I think people are overly reading into things too much.

The team is fine, the transfers and freshmen have integrated well and are eager to win and excel. Reese had a come to Jesus moment with Mulkey who I believe had to set her straight and send a message after all the success that came in the last year. Not uncommon young people have issues learning how to handle dealing with the success/fame with the adversity that comes with it.

Poole was dealt with for internal issues.

The team literally just beat #9 VT by 20 a week ago. They will be fine. They are just trying to get kids healthy at this point and continue to build chemistry.

Only a few of the girls are causing problems. I trust Mulkey to make the decisions that are in the best interest of the program.
