Idk if that had been posted, but I found a video of targeting on Danny Etling while his time at Purdue. He actually slid on the play and still got lit up.
Just makes me think of how much of a soldier this dude actually is.

The problem is that a lot of helmet to helmet is reactionary or incidental. However, these types of hits are not only dangerous to the ball carrier but to the defender making the hit.
You say "sack up" but there is evidence of chronic brain injuries from repeated hitting with the head. Not to mention guys breaking their neck and other serious injuries.
There is no reason to incur those types of injuries for a game.

I'm all for the big hits but targeting is needed. Hits are becoming far more brutal, and they need to protect the players.
If you can't accept it then how about YOU watch something else.

Sounds like the flying tiger never played at a level above JV 3rd string water boy and the only hits he's taken are his father beating him for being such a disappointment. Targeting is serious it can end a career not to mention someone's ability to ever walk.

Clearly you have not played any contact sport besides spanking the monkey.
And I think Etling is tough as nails. Look at the shite he went through during the Auburn game and the hit he took during the Ole Piss game.
